Sunday Fun Day

I had kind of an unusual Sunday yesterday. I went to early service at church. It was fun to see people I hadn’t seen in a long, long time.

The reason I went to early service is so I could meet with my coworker and go on a hike. She’s new to Maui, and likes hiking, but hasn’t done any of the trails. It was fun to show her one. We went to Wahe’e Ridge Trail.

It was super cloudy, so the views weren’t great, but it was cool and breezy, so that was nice.

I was excited to see that it is the season for the orchids on the trail to bloom. I’ve seen them before, but it was still very exciting to see orchids just growing wild out of the ground. Amazing!

On the way down, some of the clouds had cleared, so we got to see some of the view. I particularly liked when we could see the trail below us. There are people in this picture. Can you see them?

We finished with lots of time left in the day, so I could rest and relax a little. Yay! What a great Sunday.

Is that white speck a person? What a gorgeous hike! I’m a bit jealous of your day, even of the exercise. 🙂

Yes! You spotted the person! Good job 🙂

In real life, it was easier to see them. The picture makes everything look so much more expansive!

I see the white person too! Or the human that looks white… even if they are of Hawaiian decent…… don’t want to offend anybody!
