I know toilet tablets are hard on the flapper, but I like them anyway. I think they keep the bowl nice and clean. I’ve recently put in a new tablet, and I’m experiencing a pleasant side-effect: my bathroom smells like chlorine. It smells like a swimming pool!
Add to that the fact that I leave my bathroom closed when the air conditioner on, so it’s extra warm in there, and it’s even more like a swimming pool.
I love it! It reminds me of happy vacations and hotel stays 🙂
I am a fan of the smell of chlorine too!
I agree with both of you. They are hard on flappers, but the cleaning they supply is worth it. This house is so old and ‘things’ grow in the pipes (shudder), so it’s toilet tablets all the way.

Yessssss the chlorine smell makes me think of the holidome we went to as kids! The pool the hot tub the saunas the playground! It was huge in there wasn’t it? I bet going back now it would NOT be as i imagine. I’ve never done those tablets…hhmmmm
