Truck Day

Yesterday was Truck Day. I’m selling my truck to Zach, and I wanted to get it clean and ready for him to take ownership. For the outside, I went to a charity car wash. For a while, I had seen these guys holding signs out at an intersection that said “Teen Challenge”. It sounded made up, so I thought it was just a bunch of twenty-something guys who were doing a car wash for drinking money. But they are actually raising money for a real organization that helps teens recover from drug addiction. Awesome! I went to their car wash, which is just at some house in the neighborhood across the highway from my condo. The outside looks great now:

I went to a car wash place in Kahului for vacuuming, then went to school to wipe down the dash and other surface. Beth cleaned my truck using Armor All wipes, and there were some left over. They are amazing! A hearty Bradaptation endorsement for these:

And now the inside of my truck looks great too. Ready for Zach to take ownership.

My third post ever on Bradaptation was about this truck. It’s been with me for a long time. Good job, faithful truck. I hope you have a long and happy life with Zach.

I didn’t realize your truck was that old! It has been a good and faithful vehicle, and I’m glad it’s going to a good new owner. Thank you for your service, little truck. 🙂
