Yesterday I officially became a member of my church. It took a while, because the pastor took a call, and the elders were figuring out what to do.
There were actually a bunch of us. We did the new member class a couple weeks ago. Today we stood up and said “Yes, I do” and “I do so intend” a few times, then we were official.
There was a luncheon after church. They served ginormous sandwiches. They were tasty, and the fellowship was nice.
