Here’s a crazy coincidence – I was looking at old posts on Bradaptation yesterday, and stumbled across THIS ONE. It’s from exactly four years ago today. It talks about this crazy new match-three game I had started playing.
I’m still playing it. A lot. Four years later. Is that a testament to my determination? …or is it a shameful monument to wasted time?
I blame covid. My phone time got so much worse during the lockdown period. I’ve never really recovered.
I don’t know – it is really satisfying playing silly games. Yours seems more complicated. I just like matching three shapes. Candy Crush had to get all difficult with super-hard levels. Didn’t they know I just wanted to play the basic levels forever?
If it makes you feel any better, I play a word game on my phone and for every 10 games you get 25 points. When I first started playing, I remember thinking, I wonder if I could ever get up to 10,000 points. IMPOSSIBLE! Years later my points are 412,025. How many hours/days/months is that of wasted time!!
