Seward Sights

I didn’t do much again yesterday. In the morning I watched a lot of a tv show that Lloyd put on.

After a while, I felt kind of gross from sitting so long, so I walked to the thrift store in town. I like walking in Seward. There are lots of mature trees, and the yards are generally well kept. It’s delightful!

The thrift store was fun to be in, because I could eavesdrop on American conversations. It was fun to compare with Irish conversations. And I saw a framed map of Seward I thought Brent would like, so I took a picture and sent it to him:

He did like it! He asked if I could get it for him, so I did, and then walked it to his house.

After walking back to Lloyd and Lauren’s, my mom came to pick me up so I could help her take Callie the cat to the vet. She has a urinary tract infection. The cat, not my mom.

We ended the day with dinner at Sparetime. They were having chicken fried steak and chicken specials. They were delicious! Yum!

Well, that sounds like a pretty splendid day – relaxing and then some activity. Ahh…..

Now that I know you walked to Brent’s, I need to see if the Google Earth camera caught you on the rest of your walk!

I hope Callie gets over her UTI quickly, and that your Mom gets some relief from her own back pain.
