I have been looking for the flash drive that contains all my school files. On Wednesday night, I found it in my lunch bag.

All the presentations or lesson plans or worksheets I’ve ever created as a teacher are contained in this small container. It’s really amazing to think about. When I started teaching, computers were in their infancy, and everything was books and papers. I do still have some book resources, but if all of those were lost, and I still had this flash drive, I’d still be ok.
Yay! I’m so glad you found it! Good thing you didn’t toss that lunch bag. Whew.
Yeah, to think of that whole body of work is pretty incredible. It’s several decades of knowledge!
Whew! I can’t imagine how it felt when you were not sure where that was….I still have electronic files I am fairly sure I will never need again but am afraid to delete – ya’ just never know!
It does amaze how much data can be stored on a USB drive these days. Thurman put every one of my Christian music CDs – Paul Manz, Brooklyn Tabernacle, Glad, Amy Grant, John Michael Talbot, Michael Card…you get the idea – on a single (Sirius dosn’t do this genre thumb drive to use in the car (Sirius doesn’t do this genre justice) and there is still room left on the drive for more. Blows me away.
Whew!!!!
