Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Particular Pictures

I wrote the following post before leaving Cebu, because I thought I needed it. As it turns out, I did not need it. But I will leave it up, because it has some fun pictures in it.

I’m a little confused about time zones and when posts will go live, and when I’ll be home, so here is a contingency plan post. It contains some leftover pictures that I didn’t post earlier, but I like them, and so I’ll put them in the memory archive.

Here are some coral bean tree flowers:

And here is a plant I saw at a roadside stand that I couldn’t identify. If you have time and are so inclined, I’d love for you to do an image search and tell me what it is.

Here is a time I wasn’t ready for the picture to be taken. Hehe.

Here is the old fashioned I had at the expensive restaurant on the top floor of the hotel.

Here are the pens I got for so cheap at the department store in Baybay. I’m thinking I’ll do orange for grading this coming school year, so I got a bunch of them:

And here are the friends I traveled all over Cebu with:
Denis, me, Ian’s wife…. (I’m sorry… I can’t remember her name. How embarrassing), Iday, and Ian

When I got home yesterday, I was very groggy. I did manage to go out to eat some pho (It was a really good place. If you are ever in the area, I’ll take you there). I also got a few groceries. I unpacked a little. And of course, I spent a lot of time with this guy:

How cool that every time you write with one of those orange pens, you’ll remember this amazing trip! I’m so glad that you are home, and I pray that you get a few days of actual rest before starting up to prepare for the next school year. I hope Denis gets some rest too!

Bruno does wear the famous-for-cats face that says “Well, it’s about TIME you got back!” I’m sure he missed you.
