I’m still adjusting to the LA time zone. It’s a nine hour difference, so it’s almost like flipping night and day. It’s left me a little groggy.
I did go out into my garden yesterday to water things. They haven’t been watered since I left. Some of them didn’t make it.

I’m not giving up on the bougainvillea. I am going to water it and see if any new sprouts come up. I saw some bougainvilleas in the Philippines that had big, chopped-off trunks with smaller sprouts coming out of them. They looked bonsai-esque. Maybe I can do that with this one.
There were some success stories though. My euphorbia lactea variegata plants are really doing well.

My tephrocactus geometricus has two new balls on it! Two!
My dyckia has grown a second head:
And my dahlia is blooming – bright yellow flowers on a black-leaved plant. So pretty.
On the plus side of having plants that died, now I have an excuse to buy NEW PLANTS! Yay!
Well, my condolences and also congratulations! I think your weeks-long-neglected plants have fared better than many in my care, including the dead ones.
Here’s hoping your body will be adjusted a bit more today. 🙂
