A Very Gomer Christmas

One of those emails was going around school where there’s a bunch of questions about Christmas and you erase the answers of the person who sent it to you, fill out your own answers, and send it along. Peggy, the secretary at school, said one of her favorite things is Jim Nabors singing “Do You Hear What I Hear”. She said she has it on a record album and has been looking for another copy for ten years. It’s out of print, so she can’t find it.

I found it!

There is a guy who keeps a blog about Christmas music and he has converted the whole album to digital files and uploaded it. Check out his site HERE. There is other fun Christmas music there, too. A big thank you to Bongolong (the blog-keeper), who has made Peggy’s day!

Incidentally, I giggled when Peggy said she liked Gomer Pyle singing Christmas music, but he actually has a nice voice.

Gooollee, Sargent Carter!

Wow! I’m famous now! (as a possible weirdo, but none the less famous)
    Thanks again! I love it!
I hope you remembered to make a copy for your friends!

I think Jim Nabors has a great voice – especially since it comes out of Gomer’s face. Sur-PRISE, sur-PRISE, sur-PRISE!
