Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

A (Fairly) Uneventful Trip

My plane left from Lincoln on time. Yay! I got to Detroit a little early even. Yay!
My flight to Baltimore was delayed. Boo! It was only ten minutes. Yay!

I was sure glad I wasn't going to Binghamton.

There was a cool restaurant by my gate that sold only peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They offered a variety of peanut butters, a variety of jellies, and some exotic extras, including bacon. Bacon? I had creamy peanut butter, grape jelly, and white bread. I washed it down with milk. It was one of the best airport meals I’ve ever had. I wish I had the guts to take a picture of it, but there was a big warning sign that told people that the peanut butter contained nuts. Sheesh!

PB&J... ehhxcellent...

Once we got on the plane, we sat for thirty minutes waiting for some passengers from connecting flights to get on our plane. Then we sat for thirty minutes waiting for our turn to get de-iced. Stupid delays. I didn’t get home until 1:30am.

This was my first time seeing the contraption that sprayed the stuff.

I have a bunch of work to do at school today. Will I get it done? Will I ever recover from going to bed at 2am?

Holy cats – you have more adventures than anyone I know! I’m sorry you got home so late, but I’m glad that you’re home safely.

I love the restaurant!!! That should have been how we made our millions, dang it.

Good luck with your work today!

Not Dead!! Congratulations on your safe arrival…but I’m still mad that you made Christmas end.

Holy airport adventures – if you didn’t get in until 1:30 a.m. and I’m reading this at 9:30 a.m., when ever did you post, have you gone to bed yet, and will someone have to come over every passing period tomorrow and douse you with water to awaken you?! Keep the heat off in J-1 tomorrow, Mr. Royuk, or you’ll be out like the lights, eh?
I’m thinking movie day for the 6th graders myself – hope you hadn’t already thought of that, or you all will be in comas!

And what the heck kinda airliner was being de-iced in your last photo there: “mna”…isn’t that a banking or investment chain? When did they go into the airline business? That could explain a few things about your adventures!

…and I certainly hope the PB&J place also offered the Elvis: peanut butter and banana.

My dad used to say, “This, too, shall pass.” I think he was talking about some kind of teenage angst, but I think it applies to being tired after a late arrival.

You’ll get it done or it won’t matter that it didn’t get done. You’ll get a nap or to bed early, and then all will be well!

Blessings for 2008 and for a totally UNeventful and productive day!

Welcome home young padawan! Glad you arrived safely!

Now, was the PB & J freshly made?

BTW: PB&J is my favorite sandwich. I took it everyday for lunch from 1st grade thru 12th, unless the school was serving hot turkey with gravy & mashed potatoes.
