Amazing List

One of my regular stops on the internet is Boingboing. A couple of days ago, they had a link to a site that listed 99 hints and tips for everyday life. I opened the page, but didn’t have time to finish reading it, so I left it up on my computer. Yesterday I got back to it and started reading again. The list is amazingly helpful. Read it HERE, but not until after you finish reading this post, because the list will blow your mind.

I didn’t finish reading the list yesterday either, because I got to a recipe for making a brownie in a mug in the microwave and had to try it. It was amazing! Put in a few ingredients, mix it, microwave for one minute and forty seconds, and you have a brownie! It’s a little plain, so I would recommend some ice cream or chocolate sauce to top it off, but it was deliciously incredible.

Warm and chocolaty.

I am so glad you linked to the list! I read through it really fast yesterday and the thought that kept going through my mind was, “I’m never going to remember this when I need it.” Do you think there is some mnemonic you could make up to help me remember?

Off to read this list again and try to commit it to memory. The bread-tie/flip-flop tip was one I needed dearly as a child, but the chapstick/money thing would not help me, since I’m always losing chapsticks.

This. Is. Incredible. How am I ever going to memorize all of it?

Any list that lists how to make a quick brownie has to be worth reading! Off to the list.

Thanks! All I can say about the fun listing is, “Now why didn’t I think of most of those clever ideas?!” I can say “most” because I already thought of maybe 1 or 2 of them (come on – out of 99?!). I am truly inspired now. I’ll print this out at school tomorrow and hope I remember to post it somewhere it will help me out of a jam (or jelly) some day soon.
