Rainbow Beef

Yesterday between school and handbell practice, I went to get some pit beef for dinner. It was tasty. As I came out of the restaurant, the wind was blowing strongly. The sun was shining on my back, but in front of me, dark rain clouds gathered. It was the perfect conditions for a rainbow. And there it was:

It was a full rainbow, but I couldn't get it all in the picture.

It was a full rainbow, but I couldn’t get it all in the picture.

The rain was heavy and cold. As I drove back to school, the rainbow intensified, then turned into a double rainbow. Then it vanished into the rain.

A double rainbow! It’s so intense. 😉 (Do you know that video? There is some taking of God’s name in vain, so I won’t link to it.)

Well, that sounds like a pretty nice evening. Beef, bells and a bow. Nope. Your title is better.

LOVE the pit beef! How do you prepare yours: horseradish, onion, BBQ sauce, other? Rye bread, Kaiser roll or “naked”? (…the pit beef…ahem…)

…and love the rainbow(s)! (We actually go zero precip by us yesterday – go figure.)

Nothing on the sandwich. Rare beef. I open the bun, sprinkle salt liberally on each thin slice of beef, and pick it up with my fingers. Then I throw the blood-soaked bun away.
