Road Trip

We’re on an adventure! Lloyd and Lauren and I left yesterday at noon to drive to Kansas City.

On the way down, we stopped at the Stetson hat outlet store. The back room has incredible deals on hats.

I found a hat I like. I’ll wear it for the Fourth of July in Seward. I also would like to wear it at recess during school, but I’m not sure I’ll be brave enough. It’s fancier than just wearing a ball cap.

But our ultimate goal was yet to come:

IKEA! Yay! We stopped at the cafe to have meatballs first. Mmm… they are so good… I used to eat them in Baltimore all the time.

Yesterday was just The First Walkthrough, so we were only looking. I saw a few potential purchases. When I looked at the tags, I kept seeing a description that made me laugh:

I don’t know why, but the phrase at the end of the sentence (for example) just made me laugh. 🙂

Today, we’ll go back to IKEA to buy things on The Second Walkthrough. Lauren usually does a third visit to buy those things she didn’t get, but wished she did. I’m not sure if we’ll get to that visit though.
