Happy Birthday to Denis! Woo hoo! A weekend birthday!

I went on some errands yesterday. Mostly I was shopping. I enjoy that, so it was a fun day.

One of my stops was the “friends of the library” store. It’s a used book store that helps support Maui libraries. I love going in there. There’s always something interesting to see. Yesterday my big find was a Christmas song piano book. I have all the religious carols, but finding piano music for Jingle Bells and The Twelve Days of Christmas is sometimes hard. Now I have it all in one book.

I also got a lot of yarn. In art class on Friday, we knitted leis with our hands. I didn’t have a lot of yarn, so it wasn’t as fun as it could have been. We’ll do it again on Monday, and this time, there’ll be TONS of yarn! Woo hoo! There was a sale, because graduation is coming, and people often give home-made yarn leis to the graduates.

Yay for your awesome haul! That yarn is gorgeous!

Happy Birthday, Denis! Iā€™m using too many exclamation points! šŸ˜€

We crocheters are covetous of your stash, sir, especially of those variegated skeins. I can picture the intended results, though, so my jealousy abates…just be sure not to leave those “lei-ing” around lest an unscrupulous soul make off with them.

    Ahem.
