Yesterday morning was a stay-at-home morning. I decided to try making cinnamon rolls with crescent roll dough-in-a-tube. The internet said the filling was butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. It was exceedingly easy to make:
I spread the filling on the dough, then rolled them up. I didn’t have the exact correct container to bake them in. I used a glass mixing bowl. It was almost right.
They turned out looking pretty good. Yay!
I used too much filling, which I didn’t think was possible. Also, the middle part was raw. I ate them anyway. My stomach hurt the rest of the day.
Until I went to my friends Steven and Chloe’s house for game night. Yay! They served actual food that wasn’t just a full cup of brown sugar mixed with raw dough. My stomach felt much better.
Hmm… I can’t seem to get this picture to stay in portrait orientation. We played Apples to Apples. It was fun.
“They served actual food that wasn’t just a full cup of brown sugar mixed with raw dough.”=I laughed out loud! Your dedication to finishing your sweet rolls is impressive. I don’t often eat the middles even if they are baked through. I like the crusty outside.
That ottoman is fascinating! Does it open up? Find out for me…..
