A Missing Key, A Surprising Find

Halfway through the day, I couldn’t find the hex key that locks the crash bar open for my classroom. I looked all over, but could not find it, so I decided to stop at Home Depot on the way home after school. (I borrowed Chloe’s hex key to lock my room.)

Home Depot only had sets of allen wrenches. I don’t want a whole set; I just want a single key. So they didn’t have what I was looking for, but they did have cinnamon trees. Cinnamon trees!

It’s on my list to see a cinnamon tree plantation. I was so excited to see the potted trees at Home Depot, I briefly considered buying one. Okay, it wasn’t so brief. I stood there for quite a while reading on my phone how I could grow one in a container. But I decided against it.

…but maybe I’ll go back and look at them today.

You could carve one of those branches into a hex key. Enjoy this justification. ?

Whoops. Supposed to be a smiley face. 🙂
