Snorkeling and Gardening and Traveling

We started the day with early morning snorkeling. We went to a beach Brent found on the internet when he was here. It has some good coral and lots of cool fish. While we were there, Samith and his family showed up. It was a snorkel party!

After snorkeling, we got cleaned up, and Caleb and Alicia dropped me off at school so I could tie up some loose ends, while they went to Iao Valley. I’ve been working on a garden project at school involving native Hawaiian plants. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the plants in time to put them in, but I did put flowers in some of the pots. Maybe the empty pots will pique the interest of passers-by.

But they’ll have to wait until July to see the plants arrive. I’m leaving for the mainland today. I’ll stay in LA for a few days before heading on to Nebraska.

There ain’t no party like a snorkel party, ‘cuz a snorkel party is MANDATORY. (Only funny if you’ve watched 30 Rock.) What a splendid day! I am so glad that you live in a place where all kinds of fun things are a stone’s throw away. (Not like Nebraska.)

Have a safe flight – we’ll be praying you over!
