This post is going to be very similar to Tuesday’s, because it is about working in the morning, and eating in the afternoon.
Yesterday I had a Zoom meeting with someone about a product we use at school. It ended up being an easy meeting. I just had to hear what the IT people would be doing to update our account, and to get some instructions about what I needed to do. But it was weird that the person who set up this meeting had his camera off the whole time. I left mine on, because that would seem to be the proper protocol for a video meeting. But if he was going to leave his off, why not just call me? Weird.
And now, here’s the food part:
For dinner last night, we got Chick-fil-A. Yum! It’s always one of the foods on my list when I’m visiting the mainland. Now I just need to have Runza and to have Godfather’s Pizza, and my food list will be complete. Oh, and maybe some Nebraska steak. That’s always good.
I fly to Nebraska today. Here’s my flight info:
United #UA462 Depart LA 9:05am Arrive Denver 12:22pm
United #UA4286 Depart Denver 4:00pm Arrive Lincoln 6:23m
I don’t understand the ‘video off’ function, either. Is the guy in bed? If so, I would fully respect that and want to see it. Otherwise, it’s just a phone call.
Hooray for your flight(s)! I hope they go very smoothly and are uneventful. 🙂
While observing classes from my kitchen on T/Th this past school year, I never turned on my camera either. I didn’t want whatever might be going on at my house to be a distraction for any of the students who might see it…not that anything ever DID happen except for random dog barking…which isn’t a visual thing anyway…but I digress,
So, yea, why didn’t he just phone you?
Yeah, too bad you just had to look at yourself? Good thing you’r cute. 🙂 So could he see you? That doesn’t seem fair. I call that a stalker meeting. ???
