School Stop

I got my keys for school yesterday. Yay! I also chatted with Principal Charlene about a few things. I feel really good about the upcoming school year. I will be doing a lot of familiar things, and whatever isn’t familiar, I have a lot of time to prepare for still.

The school has a beautiful courtyard in the middle of it. Here’s the view from my classroom door:

I also got to see my classroom. I think I will be spending a lot of time in the next few weeks moving things around and getting the room just the way I like it.

You have alternative seating! If I were in your room, you’d have to put me in the way back. I’m a swing-in-the-chair kind of person.

And yet another school with an incredible outdoor space! Those balconies are just glorious. I see they spent the big bucks for the nice shade canopies, too. Very nice, indeed!

Very nice. Have fun arranging those interesting tables in your classroom. When I taught in Baltimore City many, many years ago, I had trapeziod shaped tables. It was fun and frustrating to try to arrange them to seat my 36-40 students per class.
Can’t wait to see your bulletin boards!

What a nice school and great view from your door! That’s a neato bright room with very fun desks and rolly chairs….we never had rolly chairs? Can you imagine…..we would have been rolling down the halls! (I would have anyway)
