The eighth grade parents gave me an Amazon gift card for my birthday. I spent some time last night trying to decide how to use it. Often when I get a gift card, I want to spend it on something special, so I can be able to point to it and say: “that’s what I got with that card”
I ended up getting some books that have prayers and responsive readings in them. I can use them for worship planning at church. I didn’t get all utilitarian stuff though… I got a whimsical plant pot. It will take a long time to arrive for some reason. That’s ok. It will be fun when it arrives. Maybe I won’t even remember I ordered it 🙂
