And Banana

I don’t remember ever having a peanut butter and banana sandwich, so I made one.

It was ok, but the banana and the peanut butter were too similar in texture. In a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, the jelly is a contrast and somehow seems to make the sandwich easier to eat.

I liked the flavor though. Peanut butter and banana taste good together.

Will I make another one of these? Not for the foreseeable future. But I wouldn’t say no to one if I was hungry.

I used to send this sandwich in lunch boxes back in the day. I still make them for the grandchildren. They are extra tasty with some honey drizzled on top of the bananas. Makes the bread kind of crackly.

I don’t think I could eat that. Bananas can only be eaten on their own, in my book. Good for you for trying!

You gotta have chunky/crunchy pb and I second the honey. I like it open faced with the bread toasted for breakfast. Just another idea for ya!
