Flights Sights

It was a Day of Flying yesterday. My flight from Lincoln to Denver was fine. I had a window seat AND an aisle seat (because there was only on seat on the left). Looking out the window was fun and peaceful.

In Denver, I had a LONG layover. My first order of business was to get some food. They have caramel apples there! Yum!

That wasn’t my lunch though. For lunch I got another healthy item – chef salad.

Third on my list was to get my shoes polished. This guy did a good job, as usual for these airport shoes shiners. He also complemented my shoes a lot, which made me feel good.

While I was inline for the plane to LA, I saw these pants:

The picture doesn’t do them justice. They were highly reflective. They looked like cartoons or something. I loved watching them. I even complimented him. I said his pants “blew my mind”.

This was a sight for sore eyes. It’s the airplane we were waiting for. As soon as the people got off of it, we could get on.

It turns out it was old and rattley, and made lots of noices I’m not accustomed to, and also lurched about a lot. It felt like it rode the air differently than other newer planes. Whatever the case, there was a LOT of movement, and I was feeling queazy the whole trip.

But getting home was worth it. Look who was full of show-off energy when I got there:

Oh, that last photo is fantastic! It makes it all worth it, doesn’t it?

I’ve heard of reflective clothing for celebrities so that when the paparazzi tries to take their photo, the clothing ruins the flash. Do you think this guy’s legs were famous?

Imagine if you wore those pants with your freshly shined shoes!
