I have received and accepted a Call to a Lutheran school in Long Beach. It is not far from my house. Instead of driving 15 minutes south, I’ll be driving 25 minutes east. I’m excited about joining the ministry in this new location.
I will be joining this new school’s church, so yesterday was my last Sunday at my current church. I said goodbye to many good people, and heard such kind words. But the Lutheran world is a small one, so I may yet see them again.

What’s the saying – It’s never ‘goodbye’, it’s ‘see you later’.. It’s pretty much that, just short-term, right?
I am glad you got to serve at this church, and am excited to see how God will use your talents at your new call!
My heart is praying you will not be so immediately and perpetually swamped with work at your new location. I hurt for you sometimes this year, Brad.
God bless this transition – we all know you will be great and a gift to your new students.
I’m sure you will enjoy your new church and school. You will certainly be a blessing for them!
