Route Ruminations

My route to school takes me through unfamiliar territory. In order to make the journey, I must go a little north and a little east. As it turns out, there are several different ways to do that.

I’ve decided I’m just going to let my phone tell me the route every morning and every evening. That way, I’ll always take the shortest route. And hopefully after a while I will understand what roads connect home and school, and how traffic flows on them.

It’s been really interesting. It’s apparent that for much of my trip, I go against the flow of traffic. Nice!

Driving against the traffic flow is golden – one of the reasons I enjoyed traveling to and from Joppa’s P/T teaching job more than the years on I-695 going to Towson. Enjoy each and every mile of that.
