I’m in Nebraska for my college’s homecoming.
My flights were trouble-free, so that was good. And Lloyd and Lauren picked me up from the airport. AND they gave me milk in a real glass on the five home! Awesome!
We were late to the football game, but that was okay, because it was HOT. We sat for about thirty minutes, and then it was halftime, so we headed out.
I went to Lloyd and Lauren’s to cool down, then took a nap, and then it was time for the banquet.
There are several alumni awards each year, and one of them is the Heritage Family award, recognizing a family for its attendance at and support of Concordia. This year it was our family! Yay!
We all came to the front when they gave us the award. Mom made the speech.
It was a lovely evening.
This sounded lovely. So glad you were able to be a part of it all. To God be the glory!
Yay!!! Congratulations to the Royuk Family – an institution at Concordia and the Lutheran world at large! I’m so happy you were there for this!!
Now, cut that award into slices so you can all have it and puzzle it together at family events.
Congratulations to the Royuk family for their faithfulness to the Lord in their various vocations!
So cool! Glad you were able to be there to join the festivities. Well deserved honor to your family, good & faithful servants. Congrats!
