I have decided to change dentists to a place that is close to my new school. Fortunately, the place I was going to is part of a chain that also has a site by my new school, so they have access to all the records from the last two years. I went there yesterday for a First Visit, to establish myself as a new patient.
They took a LOT of pictures of my mouth. Some of them were xrays, but – and I think this is a first for me – they took pictures of my teeth with a regular camera too.
The dentist mostly told me stuff I already knew – my molars are all cracking, and my gums aren’t in very good shape. But she also told me I had two places where the roots of teeth have concerning spots that will need to be watched. Dang.
No dental work can be done until my orthodontic work is finished, so for now, it’s just watching those spots, and getting frequent cleanings.
Fascinating! So many of those x-rays look like toes. 😀
I looks like your extraction site has healed SO WELL! Your teeth are really moving, too!
