Yesterday for handbells, we did lummi sticks. It was so fun! I used my original copy of the words and music from college. It’s like a hundred years old!

This group did a great job with the motion patterns. They even got to the 12-beat pattern. Good job, handbell group!
Side note here – the kids at my current school have found this site. Hi, everybody!
Luminous sticks! Those were excellent times!

No idea what language you speak here, but it sounds like fun – thanks,Lauren, for the example.
Carol, it’s Maori. I don’t know what it means. I looked for a translation on the internet, but I think this paper spells the words phonetically, so I couldn’t find anything.
I still have my lummi stick paper, too. 🙂
Wait – do your kids know that you know that they know?
Yes, they know I know they know. The first one to discover it came to tell me. I congratulated him, because it’s so unusual for kids these days to find anything with a browser. They’re usually just on their Snapstagram and TicTube apps.
I laughed out loud – for real!
