I visited a different church yesterday. It’s really close to my house. I drive past it all the time.
It was a Wisconsin Synod church. It’s the first WELS church I’ve ever visited. It was a very similar service to LCMS. I enjoyed the music, and the sermon was Lutheran.
The congregation was small, and very friendly. I enjoyed chatting with the pastor after the service.
I just love that you do that. That church is lovely, and I pray that their congregation grows!
God bless them for toughing it out as a small congregation. If you enjoy visiting other churches as much as we have been since Thurman’s retirement, I know that was a fulfilling service, too.
