I’ve had a couple of pre-loaded debit cards for a while. I’ve had some trouble using them. I like to use money like this for non-necessities, which for me are usually digital purchases. I haven’t had much luck using pre-loaded cards like that.
Yesterday was another gardening day, and at one point, I found myself at the garden center. I needed some potting mix, which is pricey in large quantities. I was also excited to see some spikemoss, which I think will be the thing I plant in the back yard against the side of the house.

I used up the debit cards! Woo hoo! After the cards, my total was 63 cents. Not bad for a shopping cart full of happy garden time.
YES! That is a splendid use of those cards! I totally get it – gift cards (to me, at least) are just pieces of plastic that live on my piano. They’re hard to remember and hard to use. I’m so glad for your happy garden time!
