Covered Corner

A couple months ago, while I was using the string trimmer on my lawn, I got too close to the trim on my house, and I tore a hole through the plastic.

In another location, the plastic trim is protected by metal. I decided I’d do the same for this spot. I got a metal plate, I bent it in a 90 degree angle, and I painted it white.

On Sunday, I glued the metal in place. Yesterday I was able to get an “after” picture.

Holy cow! That’s actual house repair! It looks great, and that’s such a smart solution. (It also makes me a little terrified of your trimmer. What else is it capable of doing….?)

I’m curious how you bent it.

Looks quite professionally done to me – nicely done!

[How many hp does that gochdarned trimmer (aka “weed whacker”) have anyway??]
