I got a table for the patio area in my back yard. It has little plastic nubs on the bottom that act as feet.

I got it home before I realized it was missing one.

I really didn’t want to lug it all the way back to the store, so I went looking for a possible replacement. I found a hex bolt that seemed like it might work.

It did! It screwed into the hole, and is just the right thickness to act as the missing foot. Good job, Brad!

Good job, Brad! I applaud your ingenuity! 😀
Well done!
That fix was amazing and would never have happened were I the purchaser. Instead, I would spend more time in the junk drawer than would be good for my mental health, seeking in vain for a bolt or something similar. After hours of frustration, I would hunt down a Reader’s Digest to place on that side of the table to reduce wiggling when in use. Follow me for more decorating tips. 😉
