After school yesterday, there was a box of oranges in the pick-up area. People do this a lot. Apparently, citrus trees are really easy to grow here. It seems to be a lot more common (and maybe easier) than in Hawaii. Interesting. Maybe I’ll try it once I get my front-yard garden going…
There’s a stark difference between us. You think, “I should grow this, too!” I think, “Why would I ever grow this tree when others are providing the fruit for me?” (Insert crying/laughing emoji here.)
