The youth group from my church had a fundraising auction yesterday evening. The theme was Mardi Gras, because the youth gathering they’re going to will be in New Orleans.
There was food, and a silent auction part, and a live auction part. The live auction was a little out of my range, but I voted for a lot of silent auction things. I only got two:
One of the things I won is baked goods from a woman at church whose love language is food. I will arrange to have the baked goods brought to school so I can share them with the kids.
The other thing I won is a certificate for two tickets to Concordia Irvine’s Christmas concert in December. I’m so excited to see it!
Yay for getting consumables! Sharing with the kids is absolutely the right move for that.
I’m curious about the concert, and can’t wait for the photos!
