Half Done and Well Begun

I went to the orthodontist yesterday. She said my teeth have done most of the major moving now. She said the upper left smaller incisor still needs to turn a little, but it’s tricky because it’s a small tooth.

I told the orthodontist that I have a molar on the upper left side of my mouth that is hurting, and that I’m going to the dentist next week for a cleaning and will have them look at it. I think it might be another crown. She said that’s ok, because I will soon be doing a new mouth mold, and a new set of teeth trays.

I’m halfway through my Invisalign process now. In another year, I’ll start the next part of my adventure: implant!

The trip to the orthodontist is a long one from my new school. I was not able to get back there for Lenten supper and Bible study.

A two-year commitment to your mouth is commendable. Congratulations on making it to the halfway point. Think of it as a half birthday; I know you celebrate those….

I agree with Carol – happy half-birthday to your smile! It’s so cool that this giant undertaking is coming along so well! I was talking to a parent whose pre-teen just got braces on Tuesday and was in tears about it all. I told her to assure her son that everyone feels like that at the start, but it’s so worth it during and after the process. 🙂

Field trip today, yes? (Was that yesterday?)
