I was off of school yesterday. It was almost like a Saturday, except places were less busy than they are on Saturday. I went to several stores, but the most interesting one was Lowe’s.
I went there for a new toilet flush handle. While I was walking through the garden center, I saw this:
It’s the spikemoss I’ve been looking for! I had almost given up my hopes of finding it, but then there it was – a whole tray of it! I bought it all.
I hope to finally plant all my spikemoss sometime this weekend. It’s four days long! Woo hoo!
What a great find! Whereas many people plant their lilies Easter weekend I see no reason why you can’t plant that spike moss instead. Do you tell us it goes through a resurrection phase at one point?

I’m happy you found your spike moss! I’ve been having fun starting peppers and tomatoes inside this year. Got a grow light from Harbor Frieght that works great. It is finally warm enough to transfer them to my small Aldi greenhouse outside.
There is a plant sale in a parking lot Towson called Second Chance Plants. They have all kinds of plants for less than the big box stores. Some pitiful looking ones are only a dollar! So much fun!
