Yesterday was Confirmation Sunday at my church. There were eight confirmands. It was a nice service.
After the service, I was invited to the house of one of the confirmands for a party. It was nice. I talked with the confirmand’s grandpa for a quite a while, because he went to college with my parents, and for a short time his dad was pastor at the church in Columbus where my nieces’ husband is pastor. Small Lutheran world!
