There’s a garden at school. Each class has a raised bed. They plant all kinds of things. There are lots of tomato plants, and even a grape vine. But what’s coming to harvest right now is radishes.
During recess, the kids are encouraged to pick and eat tomatoes or peas, but no one seems to like the radishes. Except me! Woo hoo! I brought some home. They were delicious!

Not much beats a salted radish alrighty! Enjoy those for me too will ya’? Have’t eaten one in an eon…
Your school is the first place I’ve heard of to actually put theory into practice! Schools are encouraged to grow produce – mostly so children can see where food actually comes from – and while I’ve tried with my crew, we hardly ever get something that’s edible in the end.
Just for an experiment, would you try butter along with the salt? Apparently it’s French and delicious.
