Summary Celebration

Yesterday afternoon, the music ministry at my church had a season-ending celebration. We met in one courtyard of the church for drinks and chatting, then moved to another courtyard for dinner. It was a Tuscany-themed event.

The food was great. I sat across from a couple I didn’t know, so I chatted with them a little and got to know them. Hopefully I’ll remember their names next time I see them. Heh.

The people in that picture are in choir or handbells or the praise band. My church is so big. I’m still adjusting to it. Everybody doesn’t know everybody, and it seems weird to me, but it would be hard to know everybody when there’s so many people! Maybe I should find out if there’s a picture directory….

Wow – I can’t picture an event like this at any of the congregations of which I have ever been a member. What a blessing to have SO much musical talent in one church. I know you appreciate that, too.

Wow! What a big group, and you have an actual courtyard – so, of course they can pull off something that feels Tuscan-y! How fun!

We went to a store that had a sample of Meta glasses. Sam said the feature those really need are, “Tell me who I’m talking to.”
