This is my last weekend in LA before I travel to Nebraska. My frequent Saturday breakfast is at a local chain restaurant called Spires. I go there often enough that I know my regular server Rosa, and she knows me. How fun!

I often order the “Country Breakfast”, which includes biscuits and gravy, because they make good biscuits and gravy. I ordered it yesterday:
