I have worked in my garden a lot in the last couple of days. I’ve been trying to make it easier to water things. Soaker hoses are an easy fix for bigger areas…

…but getting pots watered is a little trickier.

I decided to try something I haven’t done before… a drip irrigation system. I got a little kit from Home Depot. It was pretty easy to set up.

But a couple of the pots just weren’t getting enough water. Fortunately, they included little sprinkler thingies. Perfect!

While I’m talking about the garden, I want to mention something new I learned – you can get replacement flower thingies for your hummingbird feeder. My old ones had mold on them, and even when I scrubbed them, it didn’t seem to come off. I ordered a packet of the replacements, and voila! I have a like-new feeder!

I fly to Nebraska today. Yay!
