Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

A Bunch of Brads

Yesterday I hung out with my mom and Ed and Jo. We had lunch at Runza. I was so excited to see my name there. I almost never see it in the wild.

We stopped by Lucy’s birthday party, which was super-cute, then we headed for the time capsule.

Seward has had the world’s largest time capsule since 1975.

This year it was opened.

There were many messages written on the wall. And look what name was there! Another Brad sighting!

The Chevy Vega was on display. It was cool.

There was also a more beat up car inside the pyramid part. It was less protected, so not in great shape, but still cool.

Back in 1975, people were invited to include things in the capsule. Most of the items were notes. The things are on display in the building next to the capsule.

If something is addressed to someone, they are invited to take it home. Look at who this one is addressed to. Another Brad!

This one is cool too. It would be so fun to have someone from the past write a note to you because you lived in their house.

In the evening, I went to dinner with Mom and Ed and Jo. It was delicious. I saw no Brads there …as far as I know.

That sounds like an amazing Day of Brads! I can honestly say I’ve never experienced a Day of Carols – or of Thurmans, for that matter. Kudos to all the Brads who contributed.

Arrrgh!!! My jealousy rears its ugly head. I am so sad to have missed this, but so happy that you got to experience it! What a crazy time!
