This past spring, I ordered seeds for some chocolate flowers (berlandiera lyrata). I had grown them in Baltimore, and loved their scent, which is exactly like chocolate.
The seeds did sprout, and I planted the seedlings with my roses in the front of the house. That way, I could smell them as I went to and from my truck.
Yesterday I got my first flower! Woo hoo!

It did indeed smell like chocolate. I hope I get lots more flowers!
How can such a little blossom have such a sweet, big smell? That is crazy!
