I have been trying to figure out how to make the back yard garden a little more formal. Up til now, there have been pots kind of scattered all over. I am most interested in breaking up the back wall. It’s a long featureless cement block wall.
I decided I would pot something tall against the wall, and I would put it in tall pots. The pots are too deep to have potting mix go all the way to the bottom, so I tried to find smaller pots that would nest inside. As it turned out, I already had some pots that fit my cement planters:

I have another planter that is blue, and nothing I had fit in it, so I went shopping. What I found fits perfectly! Ha!

Brilliant! That adds a nice little ‘collar’ to the top, too! Will you put something in the bottom so they’re not top-heavy… wait a minute, I’m thinking like a Nebraskan where it’s so windy.
I love when I can use something that I already own. Have fun playing with you planters an plantings. Maybe you could try some retailer fruit trees. We saw them on walls in Germany.
Espalier, darn autocorrect!
