Shirt and Scintillation

My back yard gardening is taking longer than I thought. Yesterday, I did a lot of driving around, getting pots and pavers. By the time I was working, it was sunny and hot.

I have a gardening hat to keep the sun off my head, but my arms, and especially the back of my neck get lots of sun, and I needed to protect them somehow. I have a couple of teacher shirts that I will be retiring this coming school year. I decided to wear one. It would cover my arms and my neck. I was almost a Gentleman Gardener! All I needed was a tie!

I’m not quite done with my Pot Project, so I can’t show that yet. But I did get lights hung on my house. These are brighter than the solar ones I hung on the wall. They illuminate the back yard pretty well! Nice!

I have become a fan of long sleeves in the sun and also have a white shirt I keep at school just for outside time. The term ‘radiation burn’ is stuck in my head instead of ‘sun burn’.

    Those lights are perfect!

I like these lights!! Maybe I will need to come back to check them out.
