When I do projects, I’m always plagued by the domino effect – I can’t do the thing I want to do until I do another thing, and that other thing is also contingent on something.
That happened with my planters – I want to use my tall blue planters on the pedestals I’ve set up, but one of the planters has something in it – a maple tree.

If I moved the maple tree, I would want it to be in the same kind of planter the other maple tree is in, so they can be a set. But the matching blue planter has a gingko tree in it, so I’d have to move the gingko.

Dang. So much work.
But I decided to do something else that was less work – use a smaller planter that matches the bigger one. Great idea, Brad!

But there was one more domino. That tall planter with the maple was full of potting mix. (Not a great decision, Brad from the Past. You should have left some empty space in there.) Getting the potting mix out took a while. And there was a LOT of it.

I think the planters are all ready. I think I can finally pot the new plants and get the wall part of my garden design finished. Woo hoo!
Today’s post should serve as lessons for Brad of the Future alrighty – have 7,498 pots ready for new plants at all times 😉
You overcame the dominoes! Way to go, Brad!
