I usually don’t like knowing when my end-of-summer school commitments start, because I don’t want to fret about it. Sunday, I thought I’d better look at my email to see when our first teacher meeting was. “TOMORROW?!?” Yikes!
And so my summer has ended. Yesterday was my first school meeting. It was a quick pivot into school mode. But it was good. It was good to see everyone. It was good to be back in my classroom.
I’ll be working mostly independently this week. I’m glad for all the time. I think it might take me a minute to get up to speed, but I am so glad to be in my second year, and so glad to be at this great school.
