One of my iris plants is blooming!
The last time this bloomed was in June of 2024. That’s kind of weird. I wonder why this didn’t bloom in June this year. Was it the raccoon attack in March?
Whatever the reason, I’m glad it’s blooming. The flowers aren’t super showy, but they do smell exactly like grape Kool-Aid. They’re in front of my house by my driveway, so I stop to smell them each time I leave and each time I come back home.
A little olfactory spa right there by your home. Nice.
