Yesterday, we had an all-staff meeting, and there were snacks. They were wonderful, and I ate too many sweets, but I had to document the plate of the guy next to me. He had gotten a cookie, and chips and salsa. There was green salsa all over his chocolate chip cookie. I asked him about it, and he said it wasn’t intentional. But he did very intentionally eat it. Yuck.
In the evening, there was an all-school gathering at a beach south of Long Beach. It was fun.
When the sun went all the way down, the sky turned purple. It was beautiful. I didn’t get a picture of it.
Wow. We had a charcuterie board for snack yesterday – cucumbers, red bell peppers, black olives, cheese and strawberries. I watched a little girl very slowly and deliberately eat her strawberries with ranch. Some people are monsters.
