I got some corn from the farmers market this past weekend. I ate some of it last night. Because of the missing tooth in my bottom front, I left rows of untouched kernels at the bottom of my bite:

I went back to bite the area with my top teeth and clean it up.
The corn was sweet and delicious. Mmm…
Ha! You, Sam and Lloyd should have a corn-eating exhibition to show the various ways your teeth leave gaps on the cob. (Your situation is temporary, though. Theirs is permanent.)
Thank you for “getting” me these days. I, too, have a missing tooth – top front – that leaves untouched kernel that need me to revisit each row after I’ve already made the circuit one time. Similar pattern to yours actually. At least we still get to enjoy fresh corn – ’tis the season and all.
(I do have a partial to insert but it is not most comfortable to wear when eating, so I pop it out at mealtime.)
